Level 10 Hunter
There was a shark on Lost last night. Those guys just have rotten luck, don't they? And still no answers yet, just more questions. Damn that show.
I've started watching Firefly. The show is couple of years old, but I never saw it when it originally aired because FOX put it on Friday nights, and you know how my wild Friday nights are spent. And the show was cancelled after only 14 episodes (3 of which were never even aired). So why watch it? It has a huge cult following like most Whedon shows (Buffy, Angel) and they made a movie for it called Serenity, which has been getting rave reviews. So I watched the first two-hour episode yesterday, and I pretty much loved it. I can't wait to watch the rest. And I have to do it quickly because the movie is coming out tomorrow.
Work training has been pretty boring. For the first week, they're just pretty much going over the company stuff: their goals, policies, getting to know the staff, etc. They did have us train a bit at the cash registers yesterday, and it was pretty easy. I didn't know that even media guys sometimes have to ring people up (i.e. Christmas season). I guess cashiering at Century wasn't a total waste of time. I'm looking forward to actually training in my department, which is next week. Until then, more boring videos and seminars.
So apparently people (other than my friends) enjoy my writing. My story, not my blog -- although I guess some people like this too. I guess I have to write more chapters, but I have writer's block. So tragic.
Oh, and I'm moving tomorrow. Help me. Prease.
and if you feel a little left behind
we will wear you on the other side
Unoriginal opening sentence wherein I express the belief that 2018 was a pretty good year for cinema, but not as great as 2017. Standard-iss...
