"God is my judge"

I am feeling particularly antisocial tonight, so I stayed home and had solitary worship time. It went better than I expected; there's something very raw and pure about singing praise by yourself, not worrying about hitting a wrong note or playing the wrong chord, merely focused on the words. I also got a chance to get down and earnestly pray, which I haven't done since... the EM retreat? I'm feeling much better.

"The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust."

- Psalm 18:2

Surrender

I'm giving you my heart, and all that is within
I lay it all down for the sake of you my King
I'm giving you my dreams, I'm laying down my rights
I'm giving up my pride for the promise of new life

and I surrender all to you, all to you
and I surrender all to you, all to you

I'm singing you this song, I'm waiting at the cross
and all the world holds dear, I count it all as loss
for the sake of knowing you, the glory of your name
to know the lasting joy, even sharing in your pain

and I surrender all to you, all to you
and I surrender all to you, all to you
